Red Cross services include: Disaster Cycle Services (Preparedness, Response, Recovery) responding to emergencies 24-hours a day providing food, shelter, and support services; Preparedness Health & Safety Services providing certification training in Adult & Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED, Aquatics, Basic Life Support for Healthcare Workers, Advanced Child Care Training--visit www.redcross.org/takeaclass to find a class and register online. Services to the Armed Forces providing support to military and veterans and their families. Blood services providing 40% of the nation's blood supply, Red Cross Services helps reconnect families worldwide who have been separated due to war or disaster. Community Services volunteers work at blood drives, work in 3 areas of our hospital, provide nursing home bingo. and help create books for the blind and visually impaired, teach disaster preparedness to school children, and help install free smoke detectors.

Cost: No fees for any service except safety classes (grants may be obtained for this if needed)

The primary goal of the Food Pantry mission is to provide emergency groceries to community members who are in desperate need of food. The pantry provides a seven-day supply of food to its clients. Clients are eligible to receive food boxes only three times in any given six month period. Vouchers are also issued to clients with children under 5 years old in order to purchase dairy products and baby foods.

Serves hot lunch to the indigent of the community, no questions asked and provides emergency temporary shelter for men all year long.

Cost: None
Hours: Daily - Soup Kitchen - 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM daily; Men's Shelter - 6:00 PM - overnight to 8 AM following morning
